Join WRC's Board of Trustees

The Women's Resource Centre (WRC) is looking to appoint a number of new trustees to its Board. As a board member you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of an enthusiastic and dedicated women’s organisation.

WRC is particularly keen to ensure its Board includes:

  • Representatives of our member organisations in the women’s voluntary and community sector;
  • Black and Minority Ethnic, lesbian or disabled trustees; and
  • One or more trustees with knowledge of financial management and accounts.

OK, I'm interested, what do I do now?

Download an information pack (142KB) which will tell you more about how you can apply to become a Board member and what being on the Board entails. In the pack you will find:

  • A background summary of WRC;
  • Information about what is involved in being on the Board;
  • A description of the selection and induction procedure;
  • A role description and person specification; and
  • Our equal opportunities policy and code of guidance.

How do I apply?

Once you’ve read through this information, you’ll find an application form to fill in and return to us. We’ve tried to keep the application as simple as possible to allow us to get all the information we need without burdening you with unnecessary work.

If you would like to have documents in large type or if you have questions regarding access please contact a member of WRC staff on 020 7324 3030.
